i am an anime nerd, a.k.a. otaku, but not so far gone that my room is a clusterfuck of posters, figurines, DVDs, manga, and creepy anime girl pillowcases. as such, i refer to myself as a DIET otaku. hopefully now my username makes a little more sense.

my personality awards seem to change at random, so just know that i am very creative, introverted, liberal, and vulgar. i like to swear but i know when and where it is/isn't acceptable. i try to avoid swearing in front of small children but the little bastards have a tendency to pop up everywhere so i make no guarantees. i'll cop to being cluttered and disorganized (by most people's standards of "organized," anyway) but i do know the definition of proper hygiene. my general philosophy on optimism/pessimism is basically "hope for the best but expect the worst."

right now i work for a concierge service, or "virtual personal assistant," which means i'm basically a substitute google for people who either don't have access to a computer or are too stupid to use it. i get weird/amusing questions like "where can i read a case history of the criminally insane?" and "how many beers would it take to get an elephant drunk?", but mostly i just give people driving directions or addresses/phone numbers.

I'm the adventurous type with a slight shy streak. I'm the development lead for a small web based company. Its a challenging job that requires a lot of focus sometimes, which makes the time fly by. I really enjoy what I do, the hours I work, and the relaxed atmosphere. I've been there since my last year or so of college.

I got my degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas. While I'm not fully utilizing the degree right now, it was far more interesting to learn about than how to program computers.

I teach Freshman English at a highschool in CFBISD. An occupational hazard of my profession, or more likely a cause for choosing it in the first place, is being a book worm. I am. I've read everything from Gone with the Wind to Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy (guess that makes it G to H... but you know what I mean). I'm not really a social butterfly, but the friends I have, I go to bat for. When they need me I'm there.

I look like I should be playing linebacker at first glance, but I never played high school football. Played some streetball, but I had arthritic knees. Anyway, point is, I'm actually a big nerd ina linebacker's body. Teacher's keep asking me what I want to coach....

Oh, and most of my friends throughout my life have been female. I've grew up with two guys who are like brothers to me, but they're pretty far away now. Well, that's it for this bit for now.

The 2010 Australian Open for tennis is a good example of how I can be turned on (not like that) by a sport on a whim. It was really fun to watch, so I kept up with it. I am a huge Dallas Stars fan. If I had to go with any sport, hockey would be it.

I play bass in a band called Urizen, which satiates my need to constantly write music. I love bands like Rammstein, Strapping Young Lad, and Type O Negative, but I have a few guilty pleasures that I wonâ??t go into ;).
Music is music. When I listen to music it gives me a swell of emotion that I think everyone experiences with whatever music they like. Itâ??s not so much the sound as it is the feelings induced by it. While bands like Ulver might do this for me, it may not for you, but thatâ??s completely fine; something does and itâ??s very important that we all have that.
I like to draw, and I've evolved a sort of comic-booky style. I like it. I think it's playful and light-hearted. It's just one of many ways to express myself, I guess.

I'm 23 years old and work in Las Colinas. I actually grew up in Lewisville but (before I sound like a dead-beat) went to school in Arkansas. Since there were more opportunities in the metroplex, I decided to get an apartment back in my old home town after college. It's been fun hanging with all my old friends (and some new ones) but most have gotten married and have subsequently become quite lame. what happened with the old days, when you could walked into a place and be spontaneous and meet new people? back then it was really easy to approach people from the opposite sex; establishing a conversation and breaking the ice was something simple and natural; I remember going to places packed with beautiful women. These days, at a typical bar, the male/female ratio rate is probably 3 guys to every one girl. Thatâ??s just during normal hours. On a Friday or Saturday night, the ratio gets worse: the male/female ratio is probably more like 10 guys to every one girl. 10 guys to every one girl. Ughâ?¦ And the same applies to parties. Unless youâ??re partying at the Playboy mansion, you can expect the male/female ratio to be lopsided in favor of guys. At a typical party, you can expect 75 percent guys, and 25 percent girls. And at raging party, you can expect 90 percent guys, and 10 percent girls. So where have all the ladies gone??? they're home, and you know why? because guys now are too freaking aggressive and intense on their approach and seduction methods(harassment) . It's pathetic to see all these guys hitting on girls, non stopping, like hungry wolves... thanks guys, now, because of these losers and their Neanderthal behavior, women are now very annoyed by men, and have become very skeptical about meeting guys at public places; we have been stereotyped, and that really suck's; so I guess online dating now would be our only chance to gained back women's trust...

Ugggggh, am I really the best person to write this? Can't I hire a professional to do this for me? Okay, here goes: Father of a beautiful 12 yr old girl. I am Currently Going to the Cathedral of Hope in Dallas Texas.... Friends and Family is Of Course Number one! I am a BIG mama's Boy and I love my mom! I have lost alot of weight since Graduating High School! and Um Music is my life! I love to go out and camp and hike! I decided to rewrite this part beacuse i felt i came off way to harsh before. i am not really what i portray myself to be when i am online. when you have the facade of the internet you can be whatever you wish. if you are a quiet person it gives you the chance to be loud ,or speak your mind. i can do this from time to time. not saying it is always right but you dont always encounter people who are always true to themselves in these places.
me on the other hand. I am what I am , a changling. I am easily adaptable to the enviroment I am subjected to. this makes it easy for me to blend in well and get along with people from all walks of life. I'm always horrible at writing about myself. While I'm not shy, I do take awhile to get to know people. I consider trust to be the most important part of any relationship, personal or otherwise.

I've been a musician for over 15 years and an actor (specifically voice acting) for about 5 years. I've been called a very artistic person, but I'm not the kind of "artist" that will talk your ear off about the complexities of cloud shapes. I'm also a writer and I've written fiction, poetry, reviews, and of course, songs. I'm a big fan of anime and video games, but it is by no means an obsession. I currently work for a video game developer in addition to freelance performing and writing and it's hands down the most enjoyable job I've ever had.

I'm a little eccentric in my own ways. I grew up in the Midwest with a strong work ethic. I believe that you should do it right the first time or don' t do it at all. Now, I have not always done it right the first time, but I gave it 100% when trying. I enjoy most types of music, depending on the mood. I prefer country, not the new stuff, but from the 70's, 80's and 90's. I have even been known to listen to rock and roll, jazz and classical when the mood hits. I am or have been very athletic. I am into football, basketball and soccer mostly. I officiate high school and college basketball, and high school football. This keeps me pretty busy. I have been descirbed as sincere, understanding, fun to be around, and definitely active. I am looking for a woman that will be independent. Someone that has her own life that I will be able to compliment. A woman who is close to her family, but not to close. Hmmm... Trying to summarize one's self in a few paragraphs is not so simple. Friends, family and people are probably most important to me. The relationships we create with others keep us happy and healthy and it is vital for me to have strong relationships with those that are close with me. Beyond that, life is an adventure and regardless of your job or other responsibilities, you should enjoy all it has to offer. I love the outdoors and enjoy SCUBA diving and camping when time allows. I love reading and gaming, but don't have a huge amount of time for either. I enjoy hosting parties and throw several each year. I enjoy the Renaissance Faires and try to make to both Scarborough and TRF each year when I can. I enjoy traveling and have been to Germany & Italy as well as much of the United States.

On a more personal note, I'm married, but in an open relationship. I am very happy with my wife and have no intention of replacing her, but rather looking to try new, exciting adventures. I would say we are polyamorous, but in all honesty I have very little time to commit fully to another relationship, so I am looking for more of a friendship with casual benefits. First, let me say that I am a very busy person. There is always something to be doing, and somehow it always manages to get done.
